Dramatic, show-stopping gown by Mary McFadden from the 1980s. Bodice in her signature perma-pleating reminiscent of Mario Fortuny's fabric from the start of the century. Her fabric achieved the elusive texture due to the synthetic fabric she utilized.  Deep midnight blue bodice with long statement sleeves and wide banded waist. Skirt of complementary blue cut velvet with a swirl pattern. Red carpet ready - in excellent condition.
